In this post, we detail what’s involved with our Invisalign treatment and ensure you’re comfortable and confident about your journey to a smile you’ll love.

Your consultation

We always offer a consultation to our patients because we know how important it is to have your questions answered and to get a feel for what’s involved at every stage of your treatment. All Invisalign treatment is led by our Invisalign dentist, Dr Francesca Dash, a Top 50 Diamond Provider for Invisalign and the first woman in the UK to achieve this status. We like to call your consultation your personal smile assessment because we can take images of your smile during this session and fill out some key paperwork too.

Your treatment plan

After taking images, Invisalign themselves put together a treatment plan. We then ensure we have every aspect covered, including using our clever 3D imaging scanner, the iTero, to capture every corner of your mouth and discuss how many aligners you’ll need for treatment. Dr Francesca can also talk you through any finance options to help cover the cost of your care.

Your first Invisalign fitting

Our Invisalign dentist will fit your first aligners personally, ensuring you know how to take them in and out, and preparing you for your treatment.  You’ll also receive your next 3 sets, as well as a special goody bag to help with your treatment. Throughout your transformation, we’ll check in with you every few weeks or arrange check-us to ensure everything is going smoothly. If you need any refinements at the end of your treatment, we’ll arrange these too.

Free teeth whitening

All our Invisalign patients in Stourbridge receive free teeth whitening, which can be done from the comfort of your own home. You’ll be given all the syringes you need and custom trays to use too. We use Philips Zoom whitening kits, known for being one of the best in the business. If you need any dental work done (crowns and fillings), now is the perfect time to do it – restorations can be colour-matched to your newly whitened smile!

Retainers for your Invisalign

Finally, you’ll be given retainers to keep your smile straight for the future. While you may need to wear these daily, to begin with, you’ll eventually be able to wear them overnight instead – but Dr Francesca will direct you on this personally.
